Red Pepper Spiced Pecans & Dried Cranberries

Description:
A pretty tasty snack. The crunch of pecans and the surprising sweetness of the cranberry makes this a winner.

  1. 1 lb shelled pecans roasted
  2. 1/2 lb dried cranberries
  3. 1 tbsp brown sugar
  4. 1 tbsp sweet spanish paprika
  5. 1 tsp red cayenne pepper
  6. 2 tsp table salt
  7. 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter
Preparation:
  1. Toast the pecans or use the ones in a can. If they are salted adjust the salt in the recipe.
Instructions:
  1. mix pecans and cranberries in a bowl
  2. melt butter
  3. mix sugar and spices together in another bowl
  4. pour melted butter over pecans and cranberries then mix well to coat
  5. pour sugar and spices over pecans and cranberries and mix to coat
  6. serve at room temperature, store in airtight container 2-3 weeks
