Description:
Pretty much a decent (if smaller portioned) representation of a classic Low Country dish
Other: Ingredients:
Time:
45 mins.
Difficulty:
Moderately easy
Serving Size:
2 healthy portions
  1. 1 lb. deveined shrimp
  2. 1 lb. crab legs
  3. 1 Hillshire Farms sausage - the kind in casing (hot if you're up to it)
  4. 2 ears of corn, cut in half
  5. Your favorite shrimp boil
  6. 1 lemon
  7. 1 quart water
Preparation:
  1. Cut ears of corn in half. Quarter lemon for the pot.
Instructions:
  1. Bring water to boil, throw in shrimp boil mix, lemon, chopped sausage, corn. Let boil for 15 mins.

  2. Throw in crab legs, let boil for 15 mins.

  3. Throw in shrimp, and cook until shrimp is a rich pink color.

  4. Drain liquid from pot, remove shrimp boil bag (if used), remove lemon. Dump contents of pot on a big serving plate, and dig in.

Yep -- my kind of recipe. Here in the south, we used spicy conecuh sausage!

I'm sure one or more frogs would be just fine in this stew. The more stuff in there, the better it is...ribbit
