Easy homemade pizza.
Other: Ingredients:

Serving Size:
Serves six.
  1. One lb. ground sausage.
  2. One lb. ground beef.
  3. One 15 oz. can diced tomatoes w/ Italian seasoning.
  4. One small can tomato paste.
  5. 3 and 1/2 oz. blue cheese, crumbled.
  6. 8 oz. shredded mozzarella cheese.
  7. One package refrigerated pizza crust.
  8. Optional toppings as desired.
Preparation:
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Spread pizza dough on a non-stick or lightly sprayed baking sheet. Place in oven for 10 minutes or until crust is firm. Remove and place on cooling rack. Reduce oven temp to 375 degrees.
  3. Mix ground beef and sausage together and brown in skillet until no pink shows and then drain.
  4. Combine diced tomatoes and paste in small skillet and heat on medium mashing out lumps with spoon. Heat until thick (about five minutes).
Instructions:
  1. On partially cooked crust spread pizza sauce evenly.
  2. Spread meat evenly over sauce.
  3. Sprinkle blue cheese evenly over meat.
  4. Cover with mozzarella cheese.
  5. Add optional toppings as desired. Place in 375 degree oven for 18 minutes or until cheese starts to bubble and brown.
  6. Remove from oven and allow to cool for 10 minutes.
  7. Slice and serve.
