I noticed only 21 verbal commits

If all 21 sign (I believe all but Higginbotham are in so far) and we get AS, is 22 it? Without going back through all these threads, who else do we have a good feeling about? RTR!!! Looks like a good class so far.

And everyone should read Scarbinsky's article from this morning. He makes some great points about SC/FL & Bama/FL as far as who beats who in recruiting for 2-3 years ago doesn't necessarily translate to who wins on the field.

Well, people keep talking about Higgenbotham being a potential greyshirt and I'm sure when it is said and done he won't be the only one. Greyshirting someone is just a way to spend your scholarships ahead of time, which is a good idea when you are this thin to begin with (and of course sometimes these guys don't pan out so you save a scholarship entirely). If you can get a guy to greyshirt you probably should, so I expect at least a couple greyshirts out of this class plus you have the inevitable few that won't make the grades.

So, of course we are looking to sign some more, we've fit 30 in a class before and look at Florida and Ole Miss, oversigning isn't a bad problem to have. In terms of names we are familiar with the only ones would be Smith and Talbert (just saw he signed with Alabama). We might dig up a guy or two like Arenas or have a suprise or two.

Anyway, not counting greyshirts from last year I'd hope for around 25 guys.

Thanks for the info fellas. I thought there were a few greyshirts, but I wasn't sure.
