OK these are the recruits visiting this weekend with the satus of each listed: I need some help here. Are these all the visitors? If not who else... I am very curious to see how the remainder of the signing period "pans out" for us. From the info I have compiled following these guys this is what I think... (Your opinions on the matter are greatly appreciated)

John Brown- med intrest- Florida- Going to Florida, just wanting to be pampered. I have no idea what we are thinking stroking his ego. He is not coming.IMHO
Brandon Gibson-med intrest- Alabama- I think we get him. I think we had him at hello...
Nick Fanuzzi-med intrest- Miami- Perhaps he has heard of RM being the "real" Miami recruit and is pulling the ol' switcharoo. Not as goot as RM. Not even close. I think many posters know that RM is bailing and want to make it look as if this guy is a better recruit. I want RM, but its a toss up right now.
Elliott McGaskin- Soft Verbal- Alabama- I have no idea what he is thinking, thought he was a lock. New coaching staff showing less intrest??? This kid can play...
Sherod Murdock- Soft Verbal- Alabama- Ditto
Marquis Maze- med intrest- Alabama- Real talented player, NS sees something here and we have a real chance.
Can anyone explain all of the Soft Verbals and why solid players seem to be looking elsewhere now that we have one of college footballs premeire coaches, with NFL expertise, and a NC to boot. Not to mention the best football program in all of college football... What is going on.

Fanuzzi is a very good QB. May not be as good as RM but he is still very good with the size and speed. RM is still most likely to be at Bama. His visit reportedly went real well and his parents were impressed.

My understanding on the soft verbals is anyone who is making another visit is considered soft by the Bama staff. I know that a couple of players have recently stated that they are very firm to Bama but will honor their visit to another school to keep their promise.

I belive that we land John Brown.
Marve is just taking some vaction trips. Who wouldnt take a free trip to Hawaii?

The recruits that really interest me are
1. McKnight
2. Corley
3. A. Bailey
4. McNeil
5. Francois - does anyone know if we have a legit shot at this guy

If BAMA can land any three of these five then we should be alright.

Francois- I think we had a shot in the beginning, but his intrest has waivered. My gut says there is no hope at this point. I hate to say it but we need to "SURE UP" the questionables for a good recruiting class. I am worried that all of the "BIG FISH" are going to see too little too late. I feel as though CNS has done a tremendous job aquiring intrest from once impossible signees. Just the timing of everything hurts our chances. I think that we "COULD" possibly get one 4 star that we would not have gotten otherwise.

I will add, as far as John Brown is concerned according to the experts at rivals, we are the leader for his services.

not a flame, but your post is way off. I have discussed these guys in the sticky and in other threads.

McGaskin is firm. Murdock may follow Ball to Pitt. Maze isn't going to Mich and will go to UT or Bama.

Gibson is likely going to commit, and I think John Brown will as well.

Fanuzzi is looking b/c he is uncertain about Miami and b/c CNS called him up. He's extremely talented.
