I'd rather have Corley than Marve, so maybe this time it works out in our favor
If we could trade and guarantee that we got Corley, I'd be all for it. No slight on Marve, but with NF's commitment, QB is not a pressing need, whereas DL and LB are.

I actually am not sure we even have a need for NF at this point... we have JPW for 2 more years (07 & 08) backed by Barnes and McCoy, then McCoy for two more years (09 & 10) backed by NF, then only have NF for 2011. It IS good to have a good quality backup but IMO the scholly would be better spent at this point on more D-line and DB prospects than at QB. If we did get a win with Marve somehow I am not sure how you keep he and NF for the term without a transfer.
Re: Corley: Dead heat between Alabama, Florida, Oklahoma and Tennessee
Didn't 2004 teach us we need to take a QB in every class? There's no guarantee someone doesn't get a shoulder injury they can't fully come back from, transfer, etc, etc.
I would agree that we don't need Marve AND Fanuzzi, but I'm certainly fine with taking one.
