Re: Did John Parker Wilsons Brother Sign With Bama Or..................

you know...I watched Two-A-Days, but a couple things made me mad about it.

1) It seems like they only put the All-American looking kids on there. I mean...no mention of Kerry Murphy or Josh Chapman on the show (at least the two episodes I saw).

2)I don't know if this was just how MTV prtrayed it or how it really was but after the loss to JC they were all acting like a state title wasn't a big deal. If that's really the way the team felt then that's a disgrace. It's not like Hoover is the only high school in Alabama. I think Prattville may have brought them back down to earth this year. Anyways...sorry for ranting but I just don't like MTV...I watched that show thinking (probably stupid of me) that I was going to see the heart of HS football in Alabama portrayed and what I saw was just another teeny-bopper reality show. Two thumbs down!

ok I'm off my soap box now

Re: John Parker Wilson's Brother Ross Wilson signed a Bama Baseball LOI

Nope, it's a teeny-bopper show but if you would have watched last season you would see why they were down at "only" playing for a state title. All these kids have been-there done-that with the state title and were geared up for a national run this year. They aren't really dissing a state title, they are like the Bama teams of old, dominate and expect to win every game/title.

These kids are cocky, but they've earned the right to be. If a team beats them, they've beaten a well prepared team, a awesome coaching staff, and a "legend" in HS football.

I'm ready for Bama to be cocky SOB's again ....
