Alabama cleans up Elite 18
Quote:
For the second straight year, the University of Alabama led the way in signing players from the Press-Register's Elite 18 list of state prospects. But unlike any previous year, the Crimson Tide dominated the list, signing 13 of the top 18 prospects in the state.

Florida signed two Elite 18 members, while Clemson, Auburn and Georgia signed one each.

Alabama swept the top of the list by signing the top five recruits and six of the top seven. The lone exception was William Green, the Spain Park defensive end headed to Florida.

Alabama signed all of the prospects that they really went after in the Elite 18. I may be wrong but I think that Bama could have had a few more that were interested in Bama if they would have pursued them harder or you could say wanted them more.

Re: Mobile Press-Register: 13 Elite 18 and 18 Super Southeast 120 signed with Alabama

Most important part of this entire thread is the fact that Auburn only got one player on that list... UF got more than they did! To dominate CFB, we had to start by beating the team on the other side of the state... and there's not a question this time around.

Yep, and I believe it'll be a trend from here on out honestly. CNS is a recruiting machine and allbarn doesn't have anyone that can compete with him.
