Two UA football recruits appeal eligibility

Hey at least their trying. I hate when people let the NCAA roll over them, at least their going down swinging.

Yep. You snooze you lose. Lets see how the NCAA handles this. After raking the Tide over the coals and letting USC and others off this might be worth watching.

If either player is "cleared" to play, the 25 number is going to get interesting as Matchett is expected to be enrolled in the next few days as well.

I agree with that, they should go for it. But appeals rarely, if ever, work with the NCAA and then only if it somehow suits their purpose...this doesn't.

Were they cleared by the school, then denied by the NCAA? I never got the full story.

Never hurts to try, if one or both were cleared we could use the bear scholly and a greyshirt to make room. But the problem with appealing to the NCAA is that the NCAA answers its own appeal, so unless they can show some sort of math error its unlikely they will get cleared.
