Alabama, Auburn to battle for ILB Petey Smith
Quote:
Under Armour All-American Petey Smith told ESPN affiliate Web site AuburnUndercover.com, "Auburn and Alabama are still my top two schools; they are neck and neck. I just like that both of them are college towns, everybody loves football and everybody loves the colleges. They are two good SEC football programs and they both have solid academics as well."

Smith also shared his travel plans, "I'm looking to take both of those visits later in the season. I think I am going to Auburn when they play Georgia and then I will go to Alabama for the Iron Bowl. I'm going to wait until I visit both schools and then make a decision."

Re: LB Petey Smith names Bama his new leader

I don't care if his brother owns Auburn he's not the kind of linebacker who fits in their defense, they like small fast players, Smith is a large run stuffer type player.

Re: LB Petey Smith names Bama his new leader

Armwood will win state again this year. Their defense has several D1 players. Petey leads that D.

On one of the barn boards i lurk on, they are saying that Petey is saying this just for free Iron Bowl tickets.... What those morons don't realize is that he could get free tickets from barn.

Agree, I believe, unfortunately, him and Montez Robinson will be two big additions to the AU class. Knowing Auburn he will end up playing NG though.
