Supposedly it has a lot to do with the lack of video on the kid. But if you do get to see some of his video it is VERY impressive. I know one thing, our staff loves him. RTR.

Wide receiver Kevin Norwood is heavily favoring Alabama after his visit and could commit in two weeks for the contest against Mississippi, a game his mother will be able to attend, ESPN affiliate Web site CrimsonConfidential.com reports.
He said, "I told her that I really like it, and I just want to show her all the reasons why."
Norwood described the atmosphere from the weekend, "It was great, I got to do everything. The environment was great. It was a lot of fun. I met some recruits and got to hang out with some of the players after the game. It was a lot of fun. I didn't realize that many people can pile up into the stands. It was just great. I loved it."
Coach Singleton told me a couple of day's ago that he's about 99% certain that Norwood's headed to Bama.
Only 99%? I was thinking more like 110%.

Maybe I missed the mention of this but did Norwood not end up visiting this weekend? I was sure he would be our next commit and there has been no mention of him for a while. Anyone?

Coach Singleton said this morning that Norwood is now wearing an Alabama cap and T-shirt a lot of the time.
He also said LSU and the Barn have suddenly started recruiting him very hard.
Ultimately though he still see's him in Crimson.
This as of 11/03/08
Very nice. Thanks for the update. I'm assuming he and his mom didn't make it to T-Town this weekend?

I read today were Norwood said that Alabama is still his leader. He also said that he plans to visit Alabama for both the MSU and Auburn games and he plans to bring his mother with him to at least one of the games. I am hoping they can get on campus for the MSU game. The sooner the better as far as I am concerned. I certainly would feel real good if he commits on his next visit.

Re: WR Kevin Norwood Update: Alabama is still his leader
Coach Singleton actually advised Kevin to wait until after the season to make his decision or he may have already commited. Understand, they're the top rated 4-A team in the state, undefeated, and with a legitimate chance to win it all. So I think Coach S. wants his star player focused on matters at hand.
He told Kevin to "Wait until the season's over, take a couple of visits, and make a decision when nothing else is on your mind".
Probably good advice.
He's definitely bringing his mom to one of the games. He's stated that he wants her to see Bama for herself. They were scheduled for Ole Miss but she had to work. That simple.
I think he's ours. Coach Singleton is actually a big Ole Miss fan but he say's he wants Norwood to go wherever he's happiest and he thinks that's Alabama.

Great stuff. Thanks for all the updates Alasippi.
