The fact that he's visiting right before signing day is huge. Players from Louisiana seem to be under more pressure to stay home than players from almost any other state.

I think the fact that he's taking his visit to us as late as possible speaks volumes. Don't get me wrong, I think he probably still ends up at LSU. I also think the later the official visit comes in his recruitment, the better shot we have at swaying him.

Rivals has pulled the Jackson article, if you notice, and the LSU people are saying Chavis visited with him tonight.

Who even knows at this point? Probably both Chavis and Saban visited him today, honestly. Either way, though he's probably LSU bound, we are clearly making up ground and he is giving us a very serious look.

The LSU Scout site has confirmed that both Saban and Chavis visited him today.

He said he's pretty solid to LSU, but he's going to look around to make sure LSU is the right place for him. He's going to visit Tennessee first, then visit LSU, and then close out his official visits the weekend before NSD by visiting Alabama.

Like I've said a while now, he'll probably end up at LSU, but he is seriously considering us, and we are going very hard after him. Moreover, you can tell by his comments that he is very high on us, and that he really likes our program and Coach Saban.

So nobody get any hopes up or anything, this would just be a great bonus on NSD, it would be nice though!

Do any of you guys think that you can tell by looking at a guy's picture whether he might fit in at Alabama? And is one reason so many of us are talking this way about him because he has that look? Just looking at him, he looks to me like he would fit in over here. Of course, his five stars probably have something to do with it.

Hmm, that purple is reaaalllly hard to get by, but Yeah, I can see him being that crimson tide face in the crowd, like a noticible face such as Rashad Johnson!

Rivals did not pull the article they just replaced it in his profile with a more recent article from Tiger Bait. That is the way Rivals normally does the articles in the profiles. He still plans on taking his last visit to Bama. Here is the link to the premium article.

Interesting development.... Everyone knows Jackson has an official visit at UT this weekend BUT it was just reported that his father will be interviewing with Kiffin next week for DB coach...

I doubt anything will come of it but I just thought I would pass the info along.

well if that's true then i don't see how he doesn't go to UT (assuming his dad gets the job). sheesh, what people do for recruits these days.
