If you look at Scout.com, Randle's visit for Alabama has been removed from both his profile and also the visitor list for that weekend. I don't know what the deal is there, I haven't seen anything about him cancelling it.
I thought he said he might not take either official visit to LSU or Bama because he had already been to both so many times. I could be wrong though.
Anybody else sensing a commitment or two from this weekend?

Teague committed to UF yesterday and UT is now in the mix for Bumphis along with Patterson.... Both have visits scheduled late January.
Still, you should be very very satisfied if you land Randle and Kelly out of your initial group of hopefuls, IMO... Especially with your limited scholly's.
I don't know where you got the limited scholly idea but Saban will probably oversign a group of over 30 and bring in a full class. He found a way last year and he will again.

10 spots open via NFL and graduation.
Last year health problems, outright dismissals, grades, and transfers took care of the numbers. Short of pulling scholarships (which I believe is possible) the same is likely to transpire this year as well. One thing should be certain to everybody now, CNS has a plan and knows exactly how the numbers will work.
I don't see KK beating out PP for a slot at WR. After his performances (scratch that), consistent performances of running crisp routes, getting separation, and making spectacular catches I think he is back on the board in a big way.

...so that really leaves only Randle and Kelly still on the board. Many were thinking that we would take two more wide receivers, and if so then that must mean we feel great about our chances with Randle...
Okay, I liked this when I read it, BUT Why would LSwho cool on him too? Maybe they fill RR is a lock for them? BTW first post, but i've been following this years recruiting very closely and this is one of the best sites for information!!
and also, now that we are pushing for him again (why did we cool in the first place?) are we not getting RR now?

The plan was to take 3 or 4 WR's this year.
As of now, we have 1, Bowman. RR would be #2, KK would be #3 and hopefully PP would be #4.
Norwood's a question mark, I've heard speculation he might end up at another position. Either way, we wanted more than 2 or 3 WR's in the first place, and recruiting Patterson has nothing to do with Randle. I've said it all along, I think Patterson is the most talented WR to come out of Mississippi in maybe 10 years, and that includes last years 5-star DeAndre Brown. I know Brown's good, but I think Patterson does more with less.

Anybody else see a pattern in our Wide Outs? Marquis Maze, Julio Jones, Mike McCoy, Pat Patterson, Reuban Randel, Kendal Kelly... MM, JJ, MM, PP, RR, KK

So Tider@UNA, What postion are you expecting they move him too?
He is an outstanding safety prospect as well but will get his first look at receiver.

Wide Receivers:
* Scholarship Offers * Kenny Bell - Rayville, LA. (Soft LSU commit) Chad Bumphis - Tupelo, MS. Kendall Kelly - Gadsden, AL. Patrick Patterson - Macon, MS. Rueben Randle - Bastrop, LA
I'd be thrilled with any of those 5...or all 5 would be very nice as well.

Call me crazy dWarriors88, but didn't your post used to say "waivering" ? Or am I imaganing things? My last post looks like I'm incoherent and I'm very confused.
