a couple of the times jpw did get it to julio downfield accurately, they were called back..i think it was the ole miss game maybe? bogus calls too, if i remember right...i know there was some loud booing going on...and it was not the juuuuuuu chant
it would be soooo great to get both RR and PP...along with KK and already having JJ and TWO MMs- what is up with those initials??

I think it was the Kentucky game....
And yeah, the double initials for so many receivers is pretty interesting... hope they all fall into place! Talk about a defensive coordinators worst nightmare with all of those threats!

Yes. It would be a WW indeed.
Win Win
Watch Patterson. His action could give a hint on where things stand with RR and KK.
Re: WR Pat Patterson Update (01/06): He is officially visiting Bama Jan. 9th
RTO help me out. In all these discussions about WRs, nothing is ever said about Michael Bowman. He appears to me to be as good a prospect as Pat Patterson, Rueben Randle, etc. and with him we already have someone who can compliment Julio Jones. Is this correct or am I out in left field?
Re: WR Pat Patterson Update (01/06): He is officially visiting Bama Jan. 9th
Well I have made it clear that Michael Bowman is a very good WR prospect that is committed to Bama. He is considered by most to be the top WR in Georgia. He is a talll, athletic WR that will play wideout at Bama. He and his coach have made it widely known that he is firmly committed to Bama. I think he is a strong addition to Bama WR class. Since he has committed it seems we have not talked that much about him lately unfortunately.

bodiddle raises an EXCELLENT point! except I dont think IMHO that Bowman is as talented as RR or PP... JMO
I disagree. Bowman isn't as polished as RR and might be slightly below PP in hands but he is an all around great athlete and with some good coaching will be a monster. He owned Darren Myles in the GA HS playoffs.

Which is why we need another Julio Jones caliber Wide Out to get that safety somewhere else! I think Next year we go after some Monster TE's with some hands, seeing as how were utilizing our TE's more

Julio will be a deep threat...the fact that we haven't had a qb that could throw the deep ball probably has something to do with that.
Agreed. Julio is the total package, we just haven't had the QB capable of taking full advantage of it. That and a lack of other receivers stepping up to eliminate the double coverages (which is also partly due to the QB IMO).

It will also help when we have a QB that can look the safety off the receiver too. I love JPW, but that never was his strong suit. I think that GM will have that ability, at least he did on his TD pass to Maze...

I thought that also but upon further review, I think that Reuben will be better but isn't now based on what I saw at the USAAAG. Granted that was only one game.
I watched Bowman play a couple times this year including the GA HS playoffs and IMO he is right up there with PP really almost mirror images of each other.
As CS said I think he is being somewhat overlooked and he will be a nice surprise to the Bama faithful.
