Rivals.com is reporting that Greg Reid, a former Florida commit, is visiting this coming weekend. He's listed as an athlete. Does anyone have any information on him?

He was a tailback/db. He had 2 picks (missed a 3rd as he hit the ground) in the allstar game he was (Under Armor I think). Played for Lowndes High (Lowndes County, Valdosta, Ga) he can flat out play, they were ranked 1 in the state and top 10 nationally and would have won state this year until he got hurt at the end of the season. After he went down, they did too.

He is a great athelete.

This kid definitely fits the mold of the "playmakers" that CS wants. It seemed like he was involved in every play during the Under Armour game.

It'd be interesting to know what position he's being recruited for. He looked phenomenal at the UA AA game at DB but clearly he's a guy that could play on offense as well.

Reid looked like the real deal in the Under Armor game. It seemed like he was in on every play on defense. It would be huge if we could pick him up

I'm just wondering if this is yet another slot we'd fill wondering how we''re going to fit them all in?

He's on the board now, and we'd take him in a heartbeat. Outstanding speed and could play either CB or WR for us.

The consensus on other boards is if he doesn't end up back at UF, he'll be at UGA. But, he's visiting, so...

It looks like he will end up at UGA or UF right now but with him visiting Bama he may just like what he sees. I am also hearing there may be some qualifying issues.

I've heard this as well. In fact, the person said he'd be surprised if he was at any D1 school next year.
