Question though. How many years or eligibility will he have? And what are the chances he can come in immediately and be a starter on the line?
5 years to play 4. In other words he's just like an incoming freshman out of high school.

I saw Kerry play several times in high school. He was incredibly agile for a man his size. There was a video that surfaced on the net during his original recruitment of him doing backflips and cartwheels that was simply amazing. While there were some who complained about his intensity level week in and week out in high school, I am not worried about that issue with this coaching staff. This is a great pick up for us and I am extremely pleased to see that Kerry's hard work has paid off for him and his family.

The nose is set for quite a few years to come. After Cody leaves next season, Square, Chapman, and Murphy will hold it down nicely.

Assuming that's where Kerry winds up. He's a guy that can play on either side of the line. He would be a seemingly ideal fit at NG however.

Ok, it has been so long I have forgotten about Murphy's abilities. Where does he fit in given our current roster? Is he fast? Is he strong? Plug the middle? Rush from the end? Center? Tackle? Guard? Glad he got in, just trying to judge the impact.
Also, how was he rated out of highschool and what might the time off do to his abilities?
just think of a 330 lb linebacker. thats exactly how he played in high school.

Welcome to the TIDE Murphy! By the way, How many years of eligibility does he have left?
I could be wrong but I think he's got 5 years to play 4 just like any incoming freshman. Since Hargrave isn't considered college, he's basically coming in with clean slate.
