I read about a month back on a post someone was suggesting he had been working with a personal trainer. I wonder what sort of shape he is in. I realize he has all winter and summer but It generally takes about 18 months for someone to come up to "Saban Level" unless they have been hitting it really really hard on their own.

I think as long as he is up to snuff in strength and quickness he will be able to contribute. We have enough depth on the DL to rotate a bunch of guys in and hide issues some guys might have with endurance.
