Bama has 21 commits for the 2009 class right now. I think that Bama will get signatures from all of them including Richardson on NSD.

I have said all along the way that I expect Bama to sign somewhere around 28 and bring in 23 or so on scholarship for this class. On NSD I think that Bama will sign a total of 29 on NSD. I will have to see Randle or Bell sign before I believe that. Obviously if both of them decided on Bama they will find room for them. I think the remaining signees will be the following uncommitted prospects:

Kendall Kelly
Dre Kirkpatrick
Eddie Lacy - could be a sign and place
Bobbie Massie
Brandon Moore
Pat Patterson
Tana Patrick
Marsalis Teague or Darren Myles (Maybe both but at least one or the other)

Is the Nutter and Ole Miss about to enter the ranks of UT and FL with the low-ball recruiting? I have heard some nasty stuff that was supposedly used by those two. I truly hope they aren't getting another companion.

Don't worry Nick is aware of it and it is reportedly being handled. I fully expect Massie to sign with Bama tomorrow.

Assigning accurate percentages to these predictions is difficult in my opinion. Take for instance Greg Reid who reliable sources have said recently secretly committed to Bama just a day or so ago. He then decided to go with FSU instead of Bama just 5 minutes before his commitment announcement. How do you assign a percentage to that? I feel comfortable picking these 8 or 9 guys to sign with Bama on NSD. Here is my best guess at what I think the percentages are.

Kendall Kelly - Bama 80%, Clemson 10%, LSU 7%, & UT 3%
Dre Kirkpatrick - Bama 95%, & Texas 5%
Eddie Lacy - Bama 75%, & UT 25%
Bobbie Massie - Bama 90%, & Ole Miss 10%
Brandon Moore - Bama 90%, & UF 10%
Pat Patterson - Bama 51%, Ole Miss 49%
Tana Patrick - Bama 90%, & UT 10%
Marsalis Teague Bama 51%, UT 25%, & UF 24%
or Darren Myles Bama 51%, UT 34%, & LSU 15%
