Brian Vogler. Guys, Brian and I are tight. I go to school and play at brookstone with him. He's probably the best tight end in our region. The dude is massive, standing next to him, of course im only a 6'3 lb'er 225. So standing next to him makes anybody feel like a midget. But I talk to him on a regular basis and he says that compared to all the other teams in the sec, he is Bama right now. I see him everyday at school so we talk about recuitment a couple times a month. But as of now, I can tell you the guy is definately seeing himself as part of the crimson red class. He's every bit as good as phillip lutzenkirchen was coming out of high school and he still has his senior year to go. The kid is beast, and I'll keep up with him and see if I can get any more read on what he is thinking as far as college goes. But right now, if your a bama fan, you have nothing to worry about.

How about a link to some information about this guy?

Well, it's a looong time til NSD '10, but sounds good.
Richardson committed a looong time before nsd too. Seriously this kid is going to be a 5.8 5.9 TE. Starting for Bama 2010 since this is peeks last year.

Re: TE Brian Vogler Update (2/27): He is very impressed after his Bama Junior Day vis
Vogler really enjoyed his visit to Tuscaloosa for Junior Day. He said that he was very impressed with the overall football program, especially the coaches, the facilities, and the academic support at Alabama. After his visit he said that everyone is pretty much even right now and that he does not have an overall favorite. He did say that Bama is one of his top contenders.
The 6-foot-7, 240-pound junior said he had a great conversation with Alabama coach Nick Saban. “He’s just been real straight forward with me,” he said.
Vogler said one of his concerns is that coaches and scouts have been telling him recently that with his size he would be better suited at offensive guard or tackle.

Get off the computer and go get hit the weight room with him!
Seriously, I've been following this guy a little bit and I hope we get him. I also hope he lives up to his potential--with his height and frame he could be a nightmare of a red zone matchup.

I was thinking the exact same thing. lol Either that is one long computer class, he smuggles his laptop into class, or he is home sick today.

I hope so. Sounds good.
However, it doesn't sound like he's too close to committing to Bama yet, but who knows.
