Warmack averaged seven pancake blocks per game as a senior .
Chance is a signee one could easily argue was perhaps a bit underrated by the traditional services as he proved to be a dominant force out on the camping circuit this past Summer . After his stop in Tuscaloosa , many first-hand observers openly expressed their belief that Chance was the best offensive lineman to participate . He's a strong , thick bodied prospect with the natural build for an assignment at right guard . Warmack is fairly agile , gets off the ball well and has arrived already possessing pretty solid technique . He's clearly one of the best drive blockers in this class and maintains a good lock on his opponents .
With eight months in a serious strength and conditioning program , Chance will be physically ready to compete as a true freshman . If he can prove to be an effective pass blocker , which is a big if , Warmack will be a very legitimate contender for the opening job at right guard . A look at center is also a possibility . Regardless of position , TideFans expects Warmack to make his presence felt sooner rather than later . Chance chose to attend the Capstone over offers from Arkansas , Auburn , Rutgers and South Carolina .

I've been excited about Chance since I first saw those videos from the OL/DL camp last summer in Tuscaloosa. He was an absolute beast. I'll certainly be keeping my eye on him during A-Day.

Grade A road grader, that's what Warmack is. He has a terrific shot at immediate playing time this year, possibly even earning a starting spot. It will be interesting to see how he stacks up against some of our returning guys. Going through spring practice and the off-season workout program will only enhance his chances at early PT.

Yes it will, it couldn't be a better situation for him. He chose well in coming to Bama, he is a perfect fit. The best thing is that this guy is #16 in this breakdown.
I think you guys added that after the initial post. Surely I didn't miss that, did I?
Nope I was just teasing with you . I read a bit quickly myself at times .

Chance Warmack is a a very big and strong offensive lineman that already has sound technique, quick feet with surprising agility and athleticism for his size. He has very powerful hands and upper body to go along with strong legs and a low center of gravity that allows him to control the defensive lineman once he engages them. I also believe that he was too low rated as a 3-star. He will compete immediately for the vacated RG positon and so far he has been impressive in early spring practices. Mike Johnson was recently quoted in a BOL article saying, that he thinks Warmack 'already looks like Marlon Davis' and 'like a 5th year senior.' I would not be surprised if he at least got into the OL rotation or even if he cracks the starting lineup. He is extremely talented and will be a mainstay on the OL for years to come.

ESPNU lists Warmack as the No. 16 offensive guard while Scout.com ranks him at No. 45 ... an Atlanta Journal-Constitution Georgia Top 150 selection ... rated as the No. 45 prospect in Georgia by SuperPrep Magazine ... All-American by Tom Lemming's Prep Football Report ... averaged seven pancake blocks per game as a senior in 2008 ... coached by Greg Minnis ... chose Alabama over Arkansas, Rutgers, Auburn and South Carolina.
