I can not wait to see some of these QB battles! If he gets on campus early that will make the competition between Star, AJ and him just that more exciting!
Obviously he has got his head on straight academically if he is expecting to enroll early. That means he will have the spring to go through which will be of tremendous benefit to him and to the Tide.
I'm certainly looking forward to having him at the Capstone. Gotta believe all the top notch competition we have for each position can only make the team stronger.
Welcome

He certainly looks poised and in control. Looks like he throws a good ball also. I can't wait to get him on campus. Since he is going to enroll early he must not be able to wait either. I know if I was in his position I wouldn't be able to wait.
I think from watching the video that his right arm could best be described as a rocket, but he also had very nice touch. That's very unusual in a high school junior Quarterback.
This guy will end up making some noise and probably sooner than later.
Im sorry for saying this? I thought he was white?? I thought he was Phil sims son?
Hey but that is great and hope he does a great job?
Nope, two m's in his name; Phil Simms.
Phillip Sims has the potential to be an excellent QB. I didn't know that he would enroll early. Shows that he has some smarts to go with that arm. The extra time with the team will be a tremendous advantage for him. Look for him to make some early noise.

Spelled differently, and Phillip Sims is from Virginia, while I believe the Phill Simms family resides in New Jersey. His oldest son, Chris, played at Texas, while the younger one, Matt, played at Louisville, but I believe transferred to his dad's alma mater, Morehead State.
