TI is reporting that AU commit OT Shon Coleman has an Alabama offer. Coleman says that he is still committed to Auburn but he plans to consider other schools. He is scheduled to camp at Bama on 6/07.
Re: 2010 Alabama Commitments and Prospects List (Updated 6/04)
There was some earlier talk that OT Seantrel Henderson was interested in Bama and that he might visit this summer. He was considered a very long shot but now he has narrowed down his list to 10 schools and Bama is not on the list.
Elite ESPNU 150 Watch List offensive tackle Seantrel Henderson is holding over 50 scholarship offers. According to affiliate Web site OUInsider.com, he has started trimming his list.
He said, "Right now it is not official, but I like Minnesota, USC, UCLA, Michigan, Iowa, Oklahoma, Ohio State, Florida State, Florida and LSU. There are some other schools, but that would be my top choices right now."

what are our odds of signing Wayne Dorsey? i know he is a teammate of James Carmon, so if we can get him on board that's got to increase our chances.
Wayne Dorsey does not have a Bama offer and I do not know if Bama is really seriously interested in him. I know Dorsey and Carmon are goods friends and that they are both from Baltimore. I know Dorsey says that Bama is trying to get him to visit but I do not know if that is going to happen or not. I do not believe Carmon and Dorsey are a package deal but it seems Ole Miss, Tennessee, MSU, and Auburn may be trying that approach. It remains to be seen if Bama gets in on Dorsey, only time will answer that question.

I have moved Keenan Allen from the wide receiver category to the athlete category in the prospect list. Allen is being recruited to Bama as an ATH/WR but Scout.com is listing him as safety and Rivals.com is listing him as an athlete. He could play multiple positions at Bama and to avoid confusion he is now listed here as an athlete.

I have moved Blake Sims from the quarterback category to the athlete category in the prospect list. Blakes Sims is being recruited to Bama as an ATH/WR/DB. Sims told Coach Saban hat he wants to play receiver or defensive back in college.

I was over in Sefner yesterday visiting w/my 2 friends who are Armwood High boosters and met Alton Bailey. OMG, this kid is big (he said that he's @ 295). Guys, we need to get this one for the DL. He is a beast with speed. Any word on him and Bama on the recruiting wire?? I said "Roll Tide" to him and he smiled. Also said he admired Coach Saban and his defense. Overall, nice kid...and did I mention big??
