it probably doesnt mean much but i saw where Brian Vogler is friends with Phillip Sims on Facebook...
Says somethin bout Good stuff to come IMO...
He's down to Alabama and Oklahoma, with an upcoming two day trip to Alabama. I think its looking like he'll choose Alabama pretty soon.

Hello Tide Fans. I am a member of Tide Fans but haven't posted yet. I also joined the most infamous of the Aubie boards thinking I may be able to help them get their facts straight now and then. So far, that just hasn't seemed worth the effort. Just wanted to join the fun here of speculating about who our remaining commits will be.
Accepting Rivals current list of 16 I believe we will commit 11 more. Of that number I am almost certain Bolton and Lewis are just waiting for strategic times to officially announce.
Of the nine remaining I am guessing our staff really wants 2 TE's and a slot. I'm also guessing they would like 1 lockdown corner who by size and speed should remain a corner rather than a safety type. Also they might want 1 more back, a really speedy slot, a defensive end (SDE) and a NG of the Cody mold.
Before signing day I guess we will commit Bolton, Lewis, Damien Robinson and Brian Vogler. (Unless our probation is a major factor in Vogler's decision I just can't see him preferring OK to us). Also before signing I think we might commit two surprises not big on our radar now but who will get there based upon camp or senior year performance.
That leaves 5 for signing day. I don't believe we'll get the back because Corey Grant will go to FLA to mollify his father. I believe we'd give our eyeteeth to get Kyle Prater, but he is probably too hard a pull. Hope I'm wrong on that one. Demarius Cobbs and Chris Dunkley may be a little more likely but I believe we'll swish on a wide receiver.
Thus, my 9 are:
Bolton
Lewis
Vogler
Robinson
surprise
surprise
And on signing day:
TE Harrison Jones (just have an idea he'll get in)
NG James Carmon (believe we can convince him he is the next Cody)
LB C. J. Mosely (believe he will be silent commit until then)
C Johnathon Fulton (should want to train under CNS)
SDE Carlos Thompson (apparently not offered now but I'm picking him as surprise no 3)
I know there are others like James Stone, Larmarcus Joyner, et al we really want, and who knows, with our current coaching staff, we at least should be in the running for them.
I hope like the last two signing days I'm yelling all over the house: "We just got ...."!

John Fulton is a December graduate so he will make his decision long before NSD.
I doubt we get Carmon. He doesn't WANT to be the next Cody and NG isn't a priority for us at this time.

He needs to realize what Saban's package has done for Cody, and what it can do for him.
And after Cody leaves, NG will definitely be something we want security at (we do have Kerry Murphy however).
I think Kerry Murphy will do fine for us down the road. But, the NT will be Josh Chapman's job after Cody is gone and he will be Cody's back-up this season.
I look for Chapman to really have a break-out season this year. He is going to an absolute monster IMO.

updated guess!!
I doubt we land Stone or Carmon. As mentioned earlier, Carmon is turned off to the idea of "being the next TC." Robinson is prolly our last OL in this class. Outside of the bold ones, I like that list, although I am not as confident about Grant, even tho I hope we can get him. But I'll add Victor Beasley and John Fulton. Assuming their academics are in order for a Dec. graduation, I think we will bring in B. Lewis and D. Bolton as well.
