It's down to the nitty-gritty for Memphis-Evangelical Christian tight end Harrison Jones. The versatile 6-4, 230-pounder plans to make a decision before the end of the summer -- possibly within the next week or two.
It is reportedly down to OU, Alabama, and UNC for Jones.
When I heard this it brought to mind how Vogler said he was down to Bama and OU and I can't help but wonder if one of these guy's decision will influence the other one's.
LOL I guess as a true Bama fan I want us to land both of them.RTR!

This might bode really well for us since it was looking like a Bama vs UNC for his services.
http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/recrui...ecruitId=69953 August 11th,2009 Alabama, North Carolina and Oklahoma have been on top of four-star tight end Harrison Jones' (Memphis, Tenn./Evangelical Christian) list for about a month but one school is fading, ESPN affiliate Web site CrimsonConfidential.com reports.
"I've been thinking more about Alabama and North Carolina, he said. "Oklahoma, I think, has kinda backed off. Well, not backed off, but I just haven't heard much out of them. So I've just been thinking, 'Can I come down to Alabama and North Carolina?'"
Now with UNC adding this TE today maybe we will here soon.
http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/recruiting/onthetrail August 14th, 2009 Tight end Sean Fitzpatrick drops Terps for North Carolina 6-foot-5, 225-pound tight end Sean Fitzpatrick of Pittsford Mendon (Pittsford, NY) has switched his Class of 2010 commitment from Maryland to the Tar Heels.
Rutgers, Syracuse, Minnesota and Buffalo had also offered.
Fitzpatrick played a variety of positions last fall including quarterback, tight end and safety. He finished the season with three touchdown reception and one interception returned for a score.
I hope we still have his services. I know we were an early favorite, but its amazing what kids hear from dishonest sources. We have some good depth at TE, but we use them in our offense extensively. Whether they are in a 2 tight end set, line up in slot, fullback, or split out wide at receiver. We could recruit 2 or 3 a year. And I don't think we recruited a TE last year anyway.

Harrison will roll with the Tide. Posted via Mobile Device
Hopefully he will make the right choice and come to the Capstone.
Methinks, there is a hole in that large fence around Memphis.

Or it could be like my damn Siberian Huskies, where even if there is not a hole in that fence, They'll still get out. Over, Under, sometimes even straight out right through it!
Go ahead and try to put stuff in there to fill the holes, or even an electiric fence... wont stop em'

As I understand it, the delay was called by the governor of Louisiana in order to position snipers just in case Randle tried "sometin' funnay" -IH8Orange

Per Andrew Bone, H. Jones will decide between Bama and UNC sometime within the next week.
CNS has let him know that there aren't many spots left and if he's getting on the train, he better get on board soon...
Safe to say there's a strong chance he winds up in T-town.
