Quote:
1. Demarcus Milliner
Stanhope Elmore High School (Millbrook)
6-1, 185, Cornerback
Scout.com Five-Star Recruit
Considering: Alabama commitment
What we know: Milliner finished the 2008 season with seven interceptions and returned two for touchdowns. He had 57 total tackles with 33 unassisted. He returned two punts for touchdowns to go along with one kickoff return for a touchdown. He also rushed for more than 500 yards as a tailback.
Bone Says: Milliner is rated the No. 1 cornerback in the nation by Scout.com. He is an incredible athlete who could play on either side of the ball. He will likely play cornerback on the next level. He has a great frame, speed and leaping ability.

Coach Saban makes me a very happy man. It looks like we'll get 7 of the top 10, with a possibility of 8 if we can sway Owens.

Re: Alabama's Most Wanted - Top 50 Football Recruits In The State

Being a homer, I really hope we go after Ryan Smith. The kid can play any skilled position on the field. He`s got a cannon for an arm at the QB position, but he can play CB, S and LB on defense with good size and speed, at 205lbs. he may grow into a good OLB. Very smart player that rarely gets caught out of position. He has a good WR in Jr. Jake Howton who will probably be getting his share of scouts next year.

Also, this year I am going to get to see some great out of state players at South Panola High in Batesville, MS. I`m really looking forward to the season kicking off.
