'Fearless and True,' it is just another one of the barn's cheesy, gimmicky recruiting tools. Also don't forget the upcoming Stars and Stripes weekend, which is being touted as the 'evolution of Auburn recruiting.'
A stretch Hummer carrying Auburn coaches visits Hoover High in April as Auburn coaches brought attention to their recruiting efforts by visiting schools across the state. Now, it's time to make a splash with big-name commits.
This has to be it. This weekend. The next step in the evolution of Auburn recruiting, the much-anticipated sequel to Tiger Prowl and Big Cat Weekend.
Doesn't it?
Recruitniks didn't seem to know for sure Monday, but think about it.

Auburn football may soon be appearing on a roadway near you, that is if you're driving around Birmingham, Mobile and Atlanta.
Billboards promoting Auburn are going up today and tomorrow in a marketing campaign in conjunction with Auburn ISP Sports Network. The message is clean and right out of the fight song: Fearless and True, it says, with a helmet raised. It also says, ``Choose Auburn.''

Most every sports team at one time or another has used billboards to promote season tickets or an upcoming big game. But the University of Kentucky is taking it one step further --- make that several "notes" further with this year's outdoor campaign.
Yes, a singing billboard.

New coach Gene Chizik was asked about the billboards on Friday. Chizik’s hiring, after going 5-17 at Iowa State, and Alabama’s rise under Nick Saban are the major reasons for Auburn’s slide in popularity.
“I don’t know exactly how the outside world views Auburn. More specifically, Auburn football,” Chizik said. “Everything we do will be in the direction of promoting Auburn University. So we’re always gonna do what’s in the best interest of Auburn. Whatever you see out there, it will be because we think it was in the best interest of promoting our university, both our university and football.”

HAHAHA!! I love it . . . . "the outside world." Indeed, Auburn is a world unto itself! Truth is, "the outside world" doesn't give a crap about Auburn or it's sorry football team. I think it's funny that Auburn fans actually believe anyone cares about that sorry crapper of a place.
