Ambles is going to recruit him hard. Supposedly he is a lifelong Vol fan. | | | | | I thought Tajh Boyd that was a dual threat guy, and he ran him off because he didn't fit the system. Now a dual threat does fit the system?
I find it amusing that now a dual threat guy is a fit now that UT has struck on on every other QB prospect they've had in their sights.

Seems like last years #1 dual threat QB went to Clemson cause he did not fit Kiffins system. Just wondering! | | | | | I have not read anywhere that says Brunetti would play anywhere other than QB. I also don't think the staff saw getting a QB would be as tough as it has been.
I really don't think anyone saw that. Early playing time at what is traditionally one of the best teams in the SEC. I thought that would be hard to pass up as a QB.

To much focus on West coast prospects and not enough on players from the south. I guess he thought his relationships with coaches out there would pay off, but not to many players from out west go to the east and south. |

The current staff at WV IMHO can not pull off the past as did the old staff of RR. | | | | | Maybe you missed Bill Stewart's debut last year which just happened to be Pat White's senior season? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pat_Whi...rican_football) | Quote: | | | | Pat White finished his collegiate career in the Meineke Car Care Bowl against North Carolina. White passed for a career-high 332 yards and three touchdowns on 26-of-32 attempts, also rushing 21 times for 55 yards, as the Mountaineers defeated the Tar Heels 31–30. In the victory, White became the first player to in college football history to win four bowl games as a starting quarterback and was named the game MVP for the third consecutive bowl game.
Pat White ended his senior season with career-highs of 1,844 yards and 21 touchdowns on 180-of-274 passing with seven interceptions through the air and 974 yards rushing on 180 attempts for 8 touchdowns - totaling 2,818 yards and 29 touchdowns on offense. White finished his career with 6,051 yards and 56 touchdowns passing and 4,480 yards and 47 touchdowns rushing - a total of 10,531 yards and 103 touchdowns over his career. White also finished his career sixth in the NCAA among the most career victories as a starting quarterback with 34 overall. | | | | |

It was Rich Rodriquez system who made Pat. Pat White was THE Offense and I do not see anyone behind him who can account for that kind of yardage he did. White was a special player and carried VW. Great 9-4 season in 2008 with Pat. But without Pat I do not see the numbers. When White was hurt that team did not do well at all. The Fate of the Mountaineers in 2008 rested with Pat White. JMHO
