Alabama and Auburn are prime contenders for his college of choice. Mosley will take an official visit at both schools. He also likes LSU and Stanford. His decision will be made based on academics and a safe campus environment.
"Alabama and Auburn will probably end up going head to head for where I will go," he said.
He may not be a power lifter, but he's knocked players out with hits. Despite all that speed, his instincts are his biggest strength.

Re: The Birmingham News' 2009 Super Seniors: # 4 LB C.J. Mosley
Sounds like a prime candidate for a dominating defense at the capstone. Chance for national championship. Plus, lets be honest, who wants to attend classes in a pasture. T'town is home for ya CJ.
Re: The Birmingham News' 2009 Super Seniors: # 4 LB C.J. Mosley
Wow -- I don't know which is more impressive: That he can only bench 175 or that he plays like he benches 350. He must have that country-boy strength, for real.
Aside from that, C.J. sounds like an absolutely outstanding young man. It would be great to have a guy like him on our team.
Re: The Birmingham News' 2009 Super Seniors: # 4 LB C.J. Mosley
This is the kind of kid you want to have on your program. I'm not talking about just his athletic ability but his character. He would fit perfectly with Fowler and Perry. Just an impressive young man.
Re: The Birmingham News' 2009 Super Seniors: # 4 LB C.J. Mosley
I have had the privilege to watch him play 3 games last year. This guys motor never stops. That's why I'm so high on this kid. He may only bench 210 but he plays like he benches 450. He's one step away from making every play. Sounds like his parents helped keep his priorities in order.
Hope he rolls with the tide.

Mosley was in attendance for the Barn vs KY game this week end to watch the cookie crumble......thanks AU for scheduling his visit to your 1st loss to KY since 1966......Enrique Florence was also in attendance to witness the smoke and mirrors that is AU football.
