Alabama is not recruiting him at this moment, but maybe we should. Not only is he a TE prospect but is also a top PUNTER also. As a TE prospect, he will have to add some weight (6'4" 215), but I think the S&C can take care of that...

Guess it runs in the family, if memory serves, ol' Jack was good enough as a high school QB in Columbus for Woody Hayes to offer him a football scholarship.

Yes, that is correct. He was a stand out player. The reason he is called the "The Golden Bear" is due to his high school mascot and the fact he played football there. They are the Golden Bears.
