Whew!!!. When I read the thread title, was scared to death that he was opening his recruiting again. After two decommitments.....well, you know. I've heard he is solid to us, but I'll rest easier with a signed LOI.

I think Phillip Sims has his sights set on a big National Championship ring with a big "A" sitting in the middle of all those diamonds.. It's coming to Bama and more than one.

His profile says 6' 1" 218 lbs. He just looks heavier than that.

His mental awareness and pocket presence are second to none. He helps his linemen out with his ability to move around, which you have to be able to do these days in order to be successful with defenses being so fast.

“Phillip wants to play in the (Southeastern Conference), compete for national titles and be in a pro-style offense. He’ll graduate early and enroll in January, where he’ll get a chance to participate in spring practice. Although Alabama has some good quarterbacks in their depth chart, he believes he can compete with those guys and earn early playing time.”

It's great that he feels that he can come in and compete for playing time, but can he handle it if he has to sit for a couple years and watch others ahead of him? We have some VERY good QB's lined up already on the team. Hopefully PS can sit back be patient and learn to be great.
