OT Arie Kouandjio Update

Share

Read on Crimson Confidential that Arie Kouandjio that he has impressed the BAMA coaching staff the most and has moved up the board. I am sure part of it is due to Jawuan's de-commitment but the article says that he has impresses the coaches the most. Sorry I can't post the article...it specifically says do not copy and paste but if you have access to Crimson Confidential you should check out the Fall Notebook.

It has been rumored for a while that Arie was #1 at tackle on our board.... before James de-committed.

Maybe a win in Oxford this weekend will help him lean to the east.

If we get him, we get his brother, who will be an incredible game changer on defense.

Re: OT Arie Kouandjio Update

It certainly appears like Kouandjio is Bama's #1 OT prospect. He says that he talks to the Bama coaches three times a week. I like our chances with him.

Would love to get him and Stone. Our future oline could be Stone Kujo at tackles which could put Fluker at LG

Are people already saying that D.J could eventually be a LG He was a superior, although raw, LT at the all american games, and I don't remember any LG's in the history of the rankings being the #3 player in the country.

Nope. Nothing but pure speculation on Tweeder's part.

I personally don't see Stone as a LT, it is possible if he puts on some weight but he is the smallest out of the bunch. IMO if they were all at BAMA it would shake out with Fluker at LT, Kouandjio at RT, and Stone at either OG position. Just don't see Stone beating out Fluker or Kouandjio or Robinson(if he commits). Stone is 6-4.5 280....Fluker is roughly 6-7 350...Kouandjio is 6-6 320....and Robinson is 6-8 330. He is giving up 40 lbs to the next smallest guy and 70 lbs to Fluker, and 70 lbs in the trenches is a huge difference. To put it in perspective if Stone was on the roster right now there would be only one OLineman smaller than him. ALABAMA OFFICIAL ATHLETIC SITE - Football

Not saying he couldn't be good enough to play, just saying that as far as the big hogmollies go it is a talented mountain to climb.

Big A Re: OT Arie Kouandjio Update

I would be shocked if Fluker does not play tackle at Alabama and I think he will be a LT.
