OT Ed Christian commits to the Barn

Share

Ed Christian de-commits from FSU and has Alabama in his top 3. FSU is imploding sad situation for Bobby Bowden. Sure wished he could have went out in better fashion.

re: OT Ed Christian commits to the Barn

Four-star offensive tackle Ed Christian of Lowndes (Valdosta, Ga.), who recently decommitted from Florida State, has made a pledge to play for Auburn.

The 6-foot-5, 290-pound prospect considered Florida, the Seminoles, Alabama and Tennessee.

Among others, Christian was also offered by Clemson, South Carolina, East Carolina and Florida International.

Another claimed "recruiting victory" over Alabama by the barners. I'm not sure he ever had an offer. I know we were starting to look at him, but I think the pecking order for our remaining OL prospects is pretty well known, or as "known" as we can get it.

Big A re: OT Ed Christian commits to the Barn

Boy, F$U is a train wreck just waiting to happen. They've got a mess on their hands in Tallahassee.

Kudos to AU. Nice pick up. Their recruiting class this year is shaping up nicely. Give them some credit, they have good talent coming in the 2010 signing class.

Bobby has lost control of the ship. I heard that Andrews and Fisher hate each other as well so that probably doesn't help matters.

You can't really blame the guy for committing to the barn. He'll probably come in and play right away.

All I want to know is how we're cheating, yet players are still committing to the barn!?!?!?!?!?!? Perhaps we should up the pay a bit!

Exactly! He is a good talent and Auburn offers a chance to compete in the SEC. With thier depth on the OL I would be suprised to NOT see him start next year. Will he be ready to play at that level? Probably not few FR OL are but Auburn doesn't have much choice. I feel sorry for the QB, whoever that ends up being.
