Alabama will host another big group of prospects this weekend. At least three official visitors have confirmed trips to Tuscaloosa: Ahmad Dixon, Scout.com five-star safety from Midway High School in Waco, Texas; Jordan Hicks, Scout.com five-star outside linebacker from Lakota West High School in West Chester, Ohio; and Alabama commitment Alfy Hill, Scout.com four-star defensive end from West Brunswick High School in Shallotte, N.C.
I starting to think we might have a chance with Jordan Hicks. I would love to get Jeff Luc, but its hard to see him leaving the state of Florida. Hicks, on the other hand, seems like he's destined to leave the Buckeye state.

Coach Bryant, after announcing his retirement, was asked if he was dissappointed that an Alabama player had never won the Heisman Trophy while he was the coach. He said, "No!", and added, "At Alabama our players do not win Heisman Trophies, our teams win national championships."
Hicks is one recruit I would love to see in Crimson. If the defense plays like it has it will definitely be a better impression than the other schools on him.
Mr. McClain show Mr. Hicks how we play the LB position in TTown.
I'd love to get Hicks as well but unfortunately I'm not too high on our chances.

Has anyone heard anything on Dixon in the last week or so?
Nothing more than he'll be on an official this weekend.

Hicks' name has been removed from the visitor list for this weekend on scouts.com. I don't know what it means he pushed the visit back from the SC game to the TN game and now he isn't even listed.
Q: You had scheduled visits to Alabama for this coming weekends game, Oregon for the USC game, and Tennessee for November 7th. Are all of the visits still a go?
A: "Naw. I'm not going to be able to visit Oregon at all and I moved the Alabama visit to November 22nd, I think. I'm still taking the Tennessee visit on the 7th, though."
Q: Who are your top schools?
A: "Auburn and Alabama. Maybe Tennessee. I don't know much about them so thats why I'm taking a visit."
Q: You didn't say Baylor. Are they still in it?
A: "Yeah, they're still in it. I just want to see what else is out there."
