For those of you following this a lot closer than I am, do we anticipate any new announcements of commitments in the next 2-3 weeks? I ask because it seems that this being Tennessee week and then next week being an off week for us, that perhaps the coaches (if they control it that close) might want to use a big name recruit announcing his commitment as a way of keeping us in the news during the down week. Also, it seems that they could play the "I can fly around in a jet - not a helicopter" game better than Kiffin ever hoped to do it.
Also remember we have LSU coming up which I believe we will have several big names in town for. I think right now with the few spots left the staff is being very particular on who they let commit and some that want to wait until NSD I think we will wait for them also. The only ones that might soon would be K Allen, I can't remember when is suppose to visit Oregon if he still is.
K Allen(ATH)-any time I hope
Arie K.(OL)-is not making his visits until after his HS season
D Robinson(OL)-not really sure
J Fulton(DB)-a Dec time frame
J Stone(OL)-a Dec Time frame
CJ Mosley(LB)-I think NSD
A Dixon(DB)-not sure
M Harris(DB)-might be soon, atleast by Dec
J Hicks(LB)-earliest Dec
Storm Johnson(RB)maybe soon if the staff really wants him, but not sure.
D Jones(DL)-maybe soon but not sure if the staff has him at a high priority
G King(DL)-Maybe soon but heard it might be down to Cal & Oregon now.
I think those are the guys still high on the board and possibilities. Others might have some better insight.

I have said it before and I'll say it again....Storm's obvious favorite is BAMA, by a mile. We will not take Storm unless we have room at the end....which is highly unlikely. We have a stable of RB's already, Lacy is waiting in the wings. We have bigger need than another RB and unless Saban strikes out completely, which just isn't gonna happen, then we won't have room for the guy. Unless we officially offer look for him to go to FL or North Carolina.
As a footnote....Isaiah Crowell(2011) is the guy to watch, 6'-205 and runs a 4.43.

I think we can pretty much cross out D. Robinson as well. Kouandjio has looked very good and has supposedly surprised some ppl. Word has it from some of the heavy hitters that Kouandjio is considered better by many. Besides if we can land Arie, pretty good chance we get his little brother, Cyrus, next yr....

"And Shepherds we shall be
For thee, my Lord, for thee.
Power hath descended forth from Thy hand
Our feet may swiftly carry out Thy commands.
So we shall flow a river forth to Thee
And teeming with souls shall it ever be.
In Nomeni Patri Et Fili Spiritus Sancti."
No debate, Arie's #1 and Robinson is out. Shon Coleman in the mix, as well.
I would have to think that James Stone would be in line right behind them. Correct?

Coach Bryant, after announcing his retirement, was asked if he was dissappointed that an Alabama player had never won the Heisman Trophy while he was the coach. He said, "No!", and added, "At Alabama our players do not win Heisman Trophies, our teams win national championships."
Hey RTO do you know if it Robinson's or the staff's decision to be out? Also would we let Coleman commit if he wanted to? Thank you for any information.SIAP.

I read an article on TI about Stone today. He will be in Tuscaloosa for the game Saturday, but it is not an official visit. His official visit will come sometime after his season is over.
According to his high school coach his top three are Alabama, All-Barn and LSU. His coach did not indicate that Stone had a favorite at this point.
I feel good about Bama's chances with Stone. Lame Kitten and Lance Thompson talked about building fences around the state of Tennessee and Memphis. This makes me hope we get Stone that much more.
