I understand that I put 8 up there, but i feel that we will have one more decommit. (just a feeling). so that leaves us 8 more spots.
I think your prediction is pretty near what will happen.
This would be an elite WR haul with those two (assuming that's where Allen would play) added in with the others... something I wasn't necessarily expecting this year.
I don't see us taking another running back, we're just too loaded at the position. We have a lot of other need areas that I think we'd address first. The only way I see another tailback coming on board is if one of those guys is willing to take a greyshirt offer.
I see us closing with two more offensive linemen. Arie is the top guy on our board, IMO, and Stone is second. Robinson's stock has really dropped, and we're going to have to swing and miss a lot to get back to him. If we can, I think we take both Arie and Stone. If we miss on one of those two, we'll get Coleman... who despite his Barner commitment, I think is ours if we really want him.
Harris is ours at corner right now. Either he silently committed this weekend, or he's such a strong lean at this point that he's a practical lock. I don't think this necessarily means that we are closing the door on Fulton -- and I do think we'll take him regardless -- but I do think our chances are low with him. I expect us to get Harris, and Fulton to end up at South Carolina.
Mosley is a 'Bama lock, IMO, you can go ahead and give him a jersey number. Hicks and Luc, on the other hand, aren't happening. I'll be literally floored if we land either one of those two.
Wide receiver is a bit dicey now, I guess. I do think we'll still get Allen, but I don't know what to make of Thompkins yet. I still think it's too early for him, but I imagine we'll take him if he wants to commit. Hard to say after he's only visited one college campus, though.
I really do not see us getting Dixon, but it could happen. I think he'd love to come to 'Bama, but our depth situation at safety is really hurting our chances there. I honestly wouldn't be shocked if he ended up at Auburn, truth be told. If you're willing to spurn in-state Texas to commit to Baylor, you'll do pretty much anything.
I'm rationally expecting Blake Sims to de-commit, but I don't know what that means really in terms of impact. It might not mean anything... I mean can you honestly say we really need another wide receiver or safety? Obviously not. I don't know what will happen with him, and who knows? He may end up pulling a Sentimore and sticking here. We'll see.

Even though we're looking at taking two more OL, and Coleman seems to be third on our board, I really want to get him just to irritate the Barn. Does that make me a bad person?

Nice to see you back, BET. Is it just me or do you have times that you kind of leave the board for a while?
Not that I'm stalking you or anything. You're just one of the best posters on the board.
Lol, yep I've been in and out for the past few months. Work has been good, but the workload has been ungodly high since early August, and it's not slowing down for another couple of months, so it's hit or miss with how much time I have for TideFans.
Thanks for the kind words, hopefully I can be around more often the rest of the year.

Now this is all just feeling on what I have read and seen but I agree to most of this....I think Harris and Thompkins are a package deal both being at El Camino CC. I know they are further down the list than say Dunkley and Fulton. I have a feeling we won't get Fulton but I also think Saban really wants him and he gets the guys he really wants more times than not. Also Dixon being out there still, but I just don't know about this guy, we won't know where he will end up until he signs that paper he has de-committed twice now(TX and Baylor-soft verbal last time I checked but he isn't staying at Baylor). So in a nut shell we are waiting on Fulton.....to say, yes or no, to Harris b/c Thompkins wants to come with him but we may not have room for both. Blake Sims I think will leave I hope he doesn't but Richt is turning up the heat on the guy b/c he has struck out on other prospects higher on his board or he just thought he had Blake locked down and didn't for see Saban getting a verbal that fast. Either way Blake is in a tough spot and I wish him well. We will take Storm at the end if we strike out majorly everywhere else but we are full of RB's don't forget Lacy enters the rotation nxt yr.
i also dont really seeing us getting Dixon bc of the depth at safety but it also depends on what the staff says about Allen playing position. I'm leaning towards reciever and then we still have perry and williams.
yea i meant williams, i just wasnt thinking straight and there is a nice article about him on rivals

Do you mean Jarrick Williams (Prichard, AL in Blount County)?? We aren't after any1 named Blount that I am aware of.
So, what if we don't fill our available spots with these prospects? I know this is highly unlikely, but crazier things have happened. Do we just take someone low who isn't even on the board or just take less scholarship players this year? I guess this is where walk-ons get their opportunity.
