WR DeMarco Cobbs De-Commits From Tennessee, Commits To Texas

Share

Some nice news on the recruiting trails... Tulsa WR DeMarco Cobbs has de-committed from Tennessee, and has committed to Texas tonight.

Sounds good to me. Cobbs is a good player, and I'd rather not face him.

Makes me wonder if maybe they turned to Cobbs after being rebuffed by DeAndrew White? Either way I like it!

Nah, White didn't have a commitable offer from Texas. His commitment really had nothing to do with it.

I'll give Cobbs credit, this one is really rare. I know Tulsa is very close to Texas, but even so the 'Horns average about one out-of-state signee per year, so you really have to be a special one for Texas to go outside of state lines to recruit you.

I thought the same thing.

Wait a minute! Where was VolFan to give us our daily UT recruiting news? He gets all the commitments posted over here. Guess he is not in such a hurry to post de-commitments.

I don't know, there were rumors that Texas had recently turned up the heat on White.

I thought we had decided this kid was some kind of Diva/Cancer. Why wouldn't we want him at UTENN?

I think it has more to do with the fact the EGO man-child Kiffin just lost one of his top commits for the yr. And the possibility of other prospects following suit or deciding not to commit b/c of Cobbs leaving.

About time someone realized the propaganda and lies from Kitten. They see that Kitten is just a slick talking salesperson who will drag that program into shambles. He has stolen recruits from other schools. Turnabout is fair play.

Texas might have missed out on a WR they were looking at and Cobbs wanted a firm offer from them all along.
