Which teams really have the talent?

Share

There's an interesting article on BOL about talent distribution across college football. This chart really shows how much impact Coach Saban has had at Alabama. Three years from now Alabama will be at the top by a landslide.

(Edit): I couldn't get the chart to stay in its original format. Maybe someone else can accomplish that.

Of them, those with losing records are Florida State, Tennessee, UCLA, Illinois, Arkansas and Maryland. Although their fans may claim a variety of reasons for the sub-par season, talent doesn't appear to be one of them.

This is what I have been saying all along.

It's no surprise obviously but it's still interesting to see it laid out like that. We're only going to move up that list as long as CNS is here.

CNS has had a long and illustrious coaching career. He has a lot of coaching left and I think he will spend it here.

It may be me looking through my crimson glasses but I think that he has chosen Alabama to be the school at which he builds his coaching legacy.

I think you're right. With our facilities and financial commitment to the program, where else could he go and have it any better?
