Should be a clash of the Titans next Fri. in the 3rd round of the HS playoffs. Pitting 2 big prospects (Calloway already committed) for the Tide against each other and a fight for North Alabama 5a supremacy. 30 mins from the house I think if I can get off work in time I'll go have a look at these 2 for myself.....update forthcoming.

I know a kid at Hartselle that is a freshman....Slayton is his last name. One of the best kids I have EVER met!. He's the 2nd string tailback. I coached him in youth football in 06'.

TOUGH TOUGH TOUGH! When he is a senior I sure hope he's everything he seems to be as far as a football player. Great parents that help him reach his goals.

Hartselle and Russellville are mirrored programs in many areas. Wish I could go to that game. It's gonna be electrifying from the kickoff!!!

I'm betting on Hartselle....but it won't be easy.

Hartselle is at McAdory tomorrow. If they and Russellville win, they would match up the following week. Since they would both have hosted twice and Hartselle won in their regular season match-up, I would assume that Hartselle would be home, but I am not sure.

Hartselle has a rivalry with both Russellville and Cullman, so either would be a big game...
