Re: Portable Satellite Dish

Both dish network & directtv offer hd programming...as for the portability you will just need a dish, tripod, receiver, tv & some type of power source. The standard dish that is on your house is the cheapest way to go...you can get those on eBay for cheap, just make sure your receiver & dish are hd capable if you want that.
There is a small, portable "box" that you just out on the ground or a table, hook the receiver & tv up & it will auto-find the signal, but it is pretty expensive. Once you get the hang of pointing your dish it won't take you more than 5 minutes to set up.

Re: Portable Satellite Dish

I just found this one last week. Have one on order. http://www.wallacet.com/vuqube/

I checked with Dish Network and they recommend the ViP211 HD receiver, but any should work.

Re: Portable Satellite Dish

I bought a pre paid dish from ebay. You can get one at radio shack also. I have cable tv in my house so this is why I have pre paid. A card is $40 last for about 30 days maybe 40 but it's a good deal.

Alabama is 2- and 3-deep all over the place with full grown, meaner-than-he!! men. It's almost not fair making college kids play against them. Any Saban-coached team is going to be deep as he!! with recruits that have elite size, strength and experience at their position and they are going to play with incredible physicality.
I support PAWS.
