Need Help!

Share

Ok here is the short of it I bought an 07 Pace Arrow 36d New in July here is the list of problems I have. My question: Is this thing a lemon or do all rv's have this problem? I am turning it in for service again on Monday after the SEC Championship game. I am woundering how to approach this with the dealership. Any help would be great.

· Water Leak above couch-comes through the light switch and down the side wall soaking the
valance and couch
Water leak bedroom slide carpet soaked
Front bathroom smells like porta-potti no smell in rear toilet
· Driver door controls not working-can't roll down window, move mirrors, etc.
· Superslide not closing properly-top fits but bottom protrudes near driver door
· Both toilets leaking at the base-back toilet fixed once already
· Inverter makes whistling noise -turning off lights seems to decrease the noise
· Washer/Dryer will not work if not plugged into 50 amp shore power. Was first told coach was not wired correctly then told problem with inverter no fix from Fleetwood
· Emergency break beeps on bumpy roads, etc.-fixed once but not properly
· Headliner in middle of coach is sagging-can push back up and will hold for awhile but falls back down
· Constant foul smell from front bathroom even after cleaning with bleach
· Wallpaper in both bathrooms are crumpled up in places-have numerous ripples-They attempted fix but still looks terrible
· Mirrors/Doors above back toilet were not installed properly. They were put in with no backings and glued in rather than the proper fittings used on all other doors.
· Linoleum in kitchen area rises when driving and when heat is on
· Linoleum ripped in rear bath b/c of trash/wood splinters underneath-They patched
· Back toilet lid scuffed and cut from glass falling and breaking from test drive…never was replaced
· Skylight above shower is cracked-asked to replace-they put glue over the crack
· Black hinge-compartment on left of side entry door-scratched up when purchased, asked to paint/touch up, never was done
· Fridge never worked properly-was finally replaced by Other RV repair company through the Dometic warranty
· Spots on carpet from not putting some sort of protection or removing shoes during last repair session-witnessed first hand
· Black and Grey tanks left 3/4 full after last repair session
· Cab air works sporadically-repaired
· Side entry door locks by itself-repaired by owner
· Wooden trim piece behind driver seat in overhead above couch-repaired
· Kitchen drawer pull (bottom)handle grooves stripped-screw won’t hold-repaired
· Kitchen sprayer needs to be rerouted behind downspout under sink-can currently only pull out half way-repaired
· 1st slider doors won’t stay locked in transit (bolt doesn’t go down far enough) and other door slides off plastic pin used at the bottom to hold the two doors together. The door is not matching up to the wall when closed. Also, the screw backed out of the rolling receiver-attempted repair-please correct permanently-repaired
· Middle top drawer under closet-plastic safety latch missing-repaired
· Utility light-driver side rear broken-repaired
· Rubber under super slide detaching and sagging-repaired
· Can see daylight through bedroom slide-looking at bed-left side-floor..can stick fingers through opening to outside-repaired
· Furnace door-passenger side-replace protective sticker coating-was removed-repaired
· DVD player missing-have remote and manual but no DVD player–we took one out of our home temporarily-replace with factory DVD that was supposed to come with motorhome-repaired
· Never received 2nd set of keys-repaired
· Never received remote control for awning-repaired
· Awning goes in sporadically w/no wind and while set on highest wind setting-repaired
· King dome satellite not set up for 2 receivers-repaired

Admin move this if this is not the right place for this question. Any input would be helpful Thank you!

Big A Re: Need Help!

Holy Cow! You should NOT have those kind of problems out of a 2007 rig.
Was it new when you bought it or a 'used 2007'? It sounds like you need to find out if it was damaged by a previous owner or wrecked during delivery.

If you are a member of the Good Sam Club, they are very helpful getting shops to back up their work. If not I would go ahead and join just for their roadside assistance program and towing, with problems like that you might just need it.

Good Luck!!
ROLL TIDE

p.s.
I have had really good service from Heritage RV in Bessemer on my RV.
