  1. Re: Pro Rules vs. College Rules on Catching a Pass (Dez Bryant and Dallas Cowboys)

So, some how planting a foot to lunge into the end zone is not a mythical "football move"? Who knows if he had actually tried to stay up and not lunge? Maybe, just maybe, it would not of been a...
  2. Re: Pro Rules vs. College Rules on Catching a Pass (Dez Bryant and Dallas Cowboys)

That's why I said semi-like, lol. It's a love hate thing for me. So, I do consider myself unbiased. However, it's funny people like you who hate the Cowboys say it was a completed pass. Common...
  3. Re: Pro Rules vs. College Rules on Catching a Pass (Dez Bryant and Dallas Cowboys)

Control of football - check. 2 feet in bounds - check. Third foot came down in bounds, which you say is not a step, was used to lunge into the the end zone. I call that a "football move." Stupid...

Question: Re: Spread offenses vs. defensive sets?

HUNH creates problems of its own, but is not necessarily a spread offense. We used HUNH at times and we aren't spread. But yeah, stopping the run would be nice.

Question: Spread offenses vs. defensive sets?

It's no secret that we have more issues with the spread offense than any other scheme. Saban has been a 3-4 guy, but now it looks like he uses more 4-3 sets. I am not a scheme expert, so please...

Re: Can someone explain the NO Safety for me?

Forward progress has nothing to do with the direction of the runner. He can be going forward or backwards, it does not matter. It's about the most forward position of the ball during the start of...

Re: Section of Kyle Field imploded

My wife said what a waste! She watches American Pickers and said they should have saved the letters, because someone would have bought them. :p

Link: Re: How Alabama Football makes it's money

Football and basketball are usually the money makers true. How the funds are really spent from those 2 programs is mystery to me, too. No, I do not how the University measures returns. That would...

Link: Re: How Alabama Football makes it's money

No. If that was true then 80% (something like that, not sure) of university athletic departments would be failing and should be closed. College athletics is about name brand recognition. In fact,...

Re: Why I really hate about Gary Danielson

There is a behavior psychological phenomena that for every 1 negative comment it takes 30 positive comments to for a person to forget the 1 negative. Danielson is an analyst. It's his job to...

Re: Game Day LSU Crowd subdued?

That's sad to hear for Coach Miles. He seemed ok on the show. Was that filmed Friday?

    Game Day LSU Crowd subdued?

Watching Game Day and the LSU crowd seems pretty subdued. Also seems like the Game Day crew has the crowd further back and away from the commentators than usual. Does anybody else think so, too?
