Re: Being an alumni of the college="real fan"?

The "sidewalk fan" is one of the dumber arguments in sports. Am I not allowed to pull for the Miami Marlins or Miami Dolphins because I never worked for them? To me, it's the same concept.

    Re: Madden 15

I got it on release day to fill in for the absence of NCAA. It's not as fun as the NCAA game, but it's still a great game. I've traded for a few Bama guys in my franchise and I'm building them up to...

I've always thought about whether I should or not. Do they look surprised when you tip them?
  5. Re: Don't speak ill of soccer or the soccer moms will pounce!!! LOL!

Are people actually implying that a professional soccer player could walk up to the plate against a Clayton Kershaw or a Justin Verlander or even one of the worst pitchers in the majors and be able...

    Re: PS4 users

Watch Dogs is kinda like GTA. It's open world, you can steal cars and shoot people. The big difference is in Watch Dogs you can hack things like peoples' bank accounts or listen to their phone...

Re: Tony Gwynn passed away, Rest in Peace

My friend sent me a quote from Greg Maddux and I found this article that had it:

Yeah, I've read that's how they really did it. Makes far more sense than a carrot in the backside.

    Re: Horse Racing

When I was young, I was told that to make Mr. Ed move his lips, they shoved a carrot in a certain orifice on the tail end of his body.

    I believed it...

Re: What ate this 9 foot great white?

Do y'all think it could have been hoaxed? Say some fishermen caught it and lifted it out of the water raising the temperature, then throwing the tracker back in?

Without seeing the body, I don't...

Re: What ate this 9 foot great white?

The temperature spike and the 1,900 foot plunge makes this very interesting. I'd like to hear more details, but that's what the documentary is going to be for I'm sure.

  14. Re: Bill Watterson sneaks out of retirement with Pearls before Swine

I have tons of respect for Bill Watterson on how he went about Calvin and Hobbes. He could have put all kinds of Calvin and Hobbes merchandise out, but didn't. He didn't let anyone else do so either....
  15. Re: Morgan Freeman - Playing the race card is a good excuse for not succeeding

I did the same when he said that.
