  1. Link: Re: "Gehrig Dieter Already Making Big Impression At Alabama"

Sometimes I think people are watching a different team than I am. From my vantage point Stewart has consistently done his job blocking down the field. Sure he has dropped a few, maybe he has had a...
  2. Re: Breaking News: Penn State Will Remove Joe Paterno Statue

I assume this is directed at me. If so ...

Yes, I was initially wrong about Paterno, and I have no problem admitting it. I had a lot of respect for him, and have lost it. If you need me to own up...

Re: Loudest Concert You Have Ever Been To?

I saw both in the 70's. Just about everyone in that general genre and time period were too loud IMO. Those two were not near the level of the ones I mentioned.

BTW I was at the Richfield...

Re: Loudest Concert You Have Ever Been To?

Saw Deep Purple in the mid 70's, also saw Ted Nugent in the late 70's. Hard to decide between the two of them. They were stupid loud.
  6. Re: Turkish Imam suspended after cucumber found shoved up his bum

First bacon, now cucumbers. Making some kind of salad?
  7. Re: Rolando suspended 10 Games for Substance Abuse

Time is running out if what you mean includes the NFL. You only get so many chances, and the time frame is too short to blow chances. It just seems that anytime he gets money in his pocket something...

  10. Re: George Soros bets 100 million euros on the collapse of Deutsche Bank

Apparently you misunderstand what a short sale is. This is what Soros does for a living. He runs hedge funds. I don't think for a minute Soros is trying to undermine the EU, in fact he is the type...

    Re: The Hillary Clinton Thread

Well it certainly disqualifies her with me. Sure there have been prior email issues, but as has been hashed out in this thread, her's were very different.

I'm not sure how a proper investigation...

    Re: The Hillary Clinton Thread

I wouldn't disagree with anything she (the family member spokesman) said, and I don't think the people I have been talking about would either. Everything is always underfunded. At some point in this...

    Re: The Hillary Clinton Thread

Me too. That has been the theme of most of my conversations. Again, I guess it depends on who you hang around. Some of those I referred to see this report a great deal differently than you. They...

    Re: The Hillary Clinton Thread

I know quite a few people who would respond to that with something like, "Kind of hard to hear with your head in the sand."

I guess we all tend to hang out in echo chambers. Your experience...

Re: Can Trump Really Win the Presidency?

    Yup,

I'll admit it. I'm definitely wallowing in the mud to stay away from the snake in the grass :)
