  1. Re: FFRF officially asks Auburn to can Pastor Chette

I wonder what constitutes being on the "most egregious chaplaincies" list? Making folks attend services and baptisms, and cutting playing time for non-compliance?

  2. Re: FFRF officially asks Auburn to can Pastor Chette

We are all free from religion, every single day. You do not have to take part. You do not have to wear your feelings on your sleeves when others are taking part, and you choose not to. That is your...

Re: Arian Foster goes public as a non-believer

Exactly, which is why I don't hate on folks on here. We may have "discussions" or disagreements, but I try to be as civil (though I can be passionate) because I know what that's like.

    I look at it...

Re: Arian Foster goes public as a non-believer

Other folks have chimed in with more than acceptable responses, but I'll just leave this here...

No one here made it seem that God was beholden to Abraham, but you somehow inferred it, and then...

Re: Arian Foster goes public as a non-believer

I didn't imply that at all. I am referring to extreme cases, including "in the name of divine righteousness", i.e. the Crusades, the Inquisition, Westboro, etc. Evil is in this world, but God never...

I would not choose disbelief because something stupid someone else did. One thing I have learned in my journey thus far is never blame God for something man unwisely chose to do, calling it God's...

Re: Arian Foster goes public as a non-believer

Also, if there were other surviving writings that gelled with the Bible, they would have been added to the canon too. The non-canonical writings only go to show what a legendary figure he became....
