    Re: When do Freshmen report?

I was talking about the QB. I would think after the 1st or 2nd practice that CNS and CLK would have pretty well decided who they are going with so they could give him the bulk of the snaps. I'm sure...

    Re: When do Freshmen report?

So 9 days from today realistically we should have an idea who this seasons field general will be?

Re: 2015 Preseason USAToday Coaches Poll

Don't really like being ranked so high so early but it's still preseason so it really don't mean squat.

Re: How Close was Saban to Coaching Texas

No HC in his right mind would tell the media they were leaving whatever university in one or three years to go to another university. The media would have a field day at his expense as well as other...

    Re: SEC Helmet Schedule

Bama plays: MTSU before Ol Miss, ULM before Jawja, off before LSU and Charleston Southern before Auburn.

    Tn: off before Bama
    Ga: plays Southern before Bama
Ol Miss: plays UT Martin and Fresno...
  6. Re: Link: Let The Battle Begin: David Cornwell (speaks very highly of his progress)

I agree but we still had a very good team when we weren't making stupid mistakes. I think we will be a better team this year all across the board. Just 6 more weeks.
  7. Re: Link: Let The Battle Begin: David Cornwell (speaks very highly of his progress)

I sincerely don't feel that Blake Sims was off, Blake was a running back that did a very good job of playing QB all year. It caught up with us a couple games when all the mistakes compounded. All in...
  8. Re: Link: Let The Battle Begin: David Cornwell (speaks very highly of his progress)

Jacob Coker wasn't ready last year but there should be no reason, barring a new injury, that he isn't up to the task for this season. I could nit pick the OSU game all day long with what ifs but I...
  9. Re: Link: Let The Battle Begin: David Cornwell (speaks very highly of his progress)

Granted that it's not be the sole reason but it weighed heavily. I'm a Blake Sims fan 110%, but he made us a bunch of times and he broke us a few. Any time a RB can come in and take the job away...
  10. Re: Link: Let The Battle Begin: David Cornwell (speaks very highly of his progress)

I agree, I was referring to QB play but you are right, we hurt ourselves in other ways too.
  11. Re: Link: Let The Battle Begin: David Cornwell (speaks very highly of his progress)

I'm not trying to come down on Blake Sims other than the unfortunate int. he played his heart out all year and most importantly Blake had the team behind him. Blake Sims was the best QB that we had...
  12. Re: Link: Let The Battle Begin: David Cornwell (speaks very highly of his progress)

The int at the last of the game when we were so close to scoring killed any hopes and the team felt it. It gave OSU the lift they needed.
  13. Re: Link: Let The Battle Begin: David Cornwell (speaks very highly of his progress)

I felt then and feel now that had Blake Sims not thrown that int, we would have won the game.
  14. Re: Link: Let The Battle Begin: David Cornwell (speaks very highly of his progress)

I remember making the statement to friends that Blake Sims would cost us the NC and Blake ended up playing much better than I thought he would. Still, Blake cost us the NC though when he threw the...

Re: *** 2016 4* RB BJ Emmons Commits to Bama ****

Won't you please tell the man, he didn't kill anyone, he was just trying to have him some fun.
