  1. Re: Post-A-Day Depth Chart (combined from both teams)...

    ----------
We had a serviceable line last year, Buzzard. But it keeps being compared to THAT line. We don't quite know what we have for next year. Hopefully they'll improve, but I think...
  2. Re: Post-A-Day Depth Chart (combined from both teams)...

And maybe, Stoutland can toss in the three all-Americans who made him and his line look so good.
  3. JessN: Re: A-Day 2014: Vanilla offense sputters, defense takes big step forward

He has until August to get this straightened out. Leigh Tiffin struggled terribly as a freshman but righted himself. Some college kickers never do. Adam has been kicking since he was a child. It...
  4. Re: Spring practice Lindsay (expected to transfer),Jones, Miller not on roster...

It's clear that there is a side of Kenyan that wants him to fail. Either he deals with it or he doesn't. But if he wants to stay at Alabama, there really isn't a choice.
  5. Re: How do you feel about the Sugar Bowl loss?

Sorry, Prof, but we may have played our best half of football in decades against a great Auburn team in 2010. Nor did we look awful while we were pulling ourselves out of 14-0 hole, on the road,...
  6. Re: How do you feel about the Sugar Bowl loss?

I don't think they did. Anybody who has played or seriously watches any kind of sports knows that you lose sometimes. A loss to Auburn may be considered an aberration on this board, but historically...
  7. Re: How do you feel about the Sugar Bowl loss?

Tommy, it's more a reflection of changes in college football, not in our program. To a team like ours, only 1 bowl game matters and we were 38 seconds from getting there and making history. Thus, the...
  8. Link: Re: NY Times drops a dime on Jameis Winston "investigation"

    [/B]

As bad as the Winston case looks for the school, police and state prosecutors, at this point it doesn't involve generational cover-ups by the head coach and university president, or involve...

Dropping a dime? More like a piano. I need a shower.

Re: Mizzou dismises DGB from progam

Solid points per usual, but DGB doesn't exactly fit the MO that you describe in "making the smallest mistake."

His problems have shown a progression of severity, and these are the cases that we...
  11. News Article: Re: Luke Del Rio Opens Up About His Transfer

Then again, doesn't this ring a bell on another school's supposed interest in the dad?

From Wiki: On January 11, 2010, Del Rio was offered the head coaching job at USC, his alma mater.[10] The...
  12. Link: Re: RB Derrick Henry building on Sugar Bowl

Precisely. I hope he's great. Let's be patient and see if he is.
  13. Link: Re: RB Derrick Henry building on Sugar Bowl

He played a terrific bowl game. He's having an excellent spring. Potential is what people talk about when you haven't really performed. Let's hope the word goes away for good in 2014.

Re: Dillon Lee Arrested for DUI

    That's super, dad.
  15. JessN: Re: Spring analysis: Seven big questions facing the 2014 team

The gap years between serviceable quarterbacks are confounding, though Bateman's continued improvement would lessen the problem somewhat. If you take only one or two a year, the misses become bigger.
