Has a team ever been ranked #1 in the nation and not made the NCAA tourney? I have followed college bball pretty closely and I can't remember that happening. Maybe Duke in 1996 when Coach K missed the year b/c of surgery. But anyway- That certainly wouldn't be a distinction that I would want our team to have. But looking at our schedule- I don't see us winning very many more games. Maybe 17, 18 wins and thats probably pushing it.
