Well, he is a twerp, so no surprise here. For the few lsu fans that do come over, I would advise them to be on their best behavior....we will out number you 100 to 1.

I agree with the comment that the game will have a hard time living up to the expectations of the rest of America - but I don't get it coming from a Bama fan. My expectations have already been met - we arrived at this game undefeated - let the best team win. If that win is by 40, so be it. The game pits the two best teams in America.

The game doesn't have to be close for it to meet my expectations. In fact, I'd rather it not be close to end any discussion of a rematch.

Clown Jindal has been wrong on every issue he has an opinion on...I would worry more if he said it would be a close game.

This one will head to the NS board soon. No need to turn it into Bobby Jindal's political career and/or opinion.

What do you expect him to say? We expect to beat LSU badly too. I don't think Dont'a is going to welcome Jarrett Lee with a hug. I think that greeting will be with a huge hit into the ground.

I would not say that we should go to lsu and be butts about the whole thing. Defend him all you want, but that was a stupid statement.

I'm not trying to defend him. I'm just trying to point out we say the same thing. I think when he says "rude guests" he means win the game and make the home team not happy. He's not meaning get hammered and throw beer bottles at Bama fans as they walk down the strip.

When an elected official says something stupid and offensive directed at the University of Alabama, it's worth noting he has a track record of saying stupid foolish things.

Edit:

It seems to me Jindal is encouraging LSU fans who travel to Tuscaloosa to be "rude guests" when they win. Poor sports, who should rub it in when they win. With that type nonsense coming from their Governor, how poorly will they act up when they don't win?

Please tell me what is "stupid and offensive" about this post that is "directed at the University of Alabama." I'd like to know.

Right. I don't mind a little smack talk on game week if it does't get out hand. I think his comments will make good BB material for our guys....:D

Does a "rude guest" merely try to be offensive to the hosting crowd, or do they resort to vandalism if they don't get their way?

Some just like to argue. I just hope our team plays a full 4 quarters and plays at their very best. That is all I can ask for. Maybe that will be enough for us to win this game, if not, hats off the LSU and hope they win out from there. But, they have to beat us first. I don't see our team giving a win to them. Should be a good game, but it's not the end of the world one way or the other. It's good to be on this stage, period.

What people say before the game is just talk and means nothing.

Sounds like he means they will be rude guests because they are going to beat us so badly. That's a little different from encouraging LSU fans to riot.
You seem to assume the fan base he is talking to is a rational fan base.

I would rather they not get encouragement from their Governor to be obnoxious.

If the good Governor of Lousiana wants to dish out a little smack talk before the game, I see no harm in my returning fire.

You guys are taking his comment out of context.
His comment on "rude guests" was about the LSU football team.
They will be "rude guests" not the LSU Fans.

For example "The LSU football team is coming to Bama to be rude Guests"

I don't know this man from Adam, but I highly doubt that he is suggesting that LSU fans do any of the things that you are suggesting.
