I see this being a weird game in Baton Rouge.
Bama 23
LSU 19
As always, I hope for a comfortable margin during the fourth, but I often get these weird feelings when thinking about the game.

28-24 BAMA. I think Fournette will get 100 yards this time, just because of their better offensive scheme. Let's hope Jalen and Adam have great games because we will need them both to play really well.

Based on your final score I hope Adam plays great with making all four of his extra points .

I always believe we can put up 40 or more on every team, but LSU is not every team. I am going more conservative for this game due to the week off for both teams to prepare for the other. I feel like we will win 24-13 over the Bengal Tigers.

35-0 and it's not that close.
I'm not that bold but I really haven't seen LSU do enough this year to scare me into thinking that they can hang with Bama. I give them credit for having LF7 and a new focus on life with Ed behind the wheel but our D is made for stopping teams like LSU. The only way that LSU can keep this game close is for Etling to torch us with his arm and for Jalen to finally have his Freshman moment and have a turnover or 2 that gives them easy points. However, I don't see any of that happening. It will be a nailbiter through the first half and LSU may even sneak a lead on us early, but in the end:

Bama 24-LSU 10

28 to 7 ... could very well be a shutout. Thinking we hold LF under 100 and the only TD comes in a breakdown in pass coverage.

I look at this game a lot like the 2013 game. IMO Bama is better on offense than in 2013 (it's a push at worst). Bama is definitely better on defense than 2013. LSU was a better passing team then, but they're a better running team now. We are built to stop the run. I think we contain Fournette about as well as to be expected, but not as well as last year. We win 31-17.

I'm thinking 27-13 sounds about right. LSU Defense will keep them in the game but I don't think Fournette will get a 100 and I don't think Etling can beat us with his arm. LSU Offense will look more like the early in the year offense against our D.

If LF gets 100 it'll be like Nick Chubb's when he had the one big run. Other than that it'll be tough sledding IMO. They gave Bama a reason this past week and that's something I would advise against.

LSU has two stud rb's but I cannot remember the last time a Bama defense has lost to a team whose RB or RB's were the reason for the loss. It's normally been because the opposing team's quarterback has played out of his mind. I've watched Etling and nothing against the kid personally, but he's not the type of quarterback that traditionally gives Alabama trouble. He's not mobile, isn't an elite passer and doesn't have a canon arm. So in my opinion it is going to take LSU's running game to beat Alabama's defense.

From an offensive perspective, I think we just keep doing what we've done. With Hurts' ability to run the ball it is next to impossible to get a bead on where the ball is going. It is also next to impossible to stack the box without exposing your defense to a huge risk of getting burnt around the ends.

LSU will come out and play their tails off. But If we don't get a case of the turnover's (i.e. Ole Miss game 2014). I think we should leave Red Stick with a win.

Ohio State beat us with a balanced attack. Cardale Jones played well, but Ezekiel Elliott was the one who went above and beyond expectations, 20 rushes for 230, including an 85 yarder. Fournette is capable of the same with a missed tackle here and there, or someone out of position. I don't expect it, but it could happen.
