Can anyone explain if the large number of one and done's will eventually impact Kentucky's APR score and scholarships? Not an APR expert but was thinking graduation rate impacted it among other things. May be more what kind of academic shape the player is in when he leaves....though, you wonder if the one and done's are still going to class now that the season is over. This isn't mean to rip Ky. just wonder if eventually it catches up to teams using a lot of one and dones.

Thanks,
Bob

Here is a quick and dirty answer. UK has Jones, Teague, Davis, Lamb, and Kidd-Gilchrist as underclassman. All 5 of those guy will leave early at some point. Darius Miller and Eloy Vargas are seniors and will graduate. UK has 6 more scholarship players on their current roster that will play 4 years and graduate. That's how it evens out.

So a quick, dirty and oversimple reply...basically he recruits 5-6 guys who are average at best that he knows will graduate to go with the stars. More seriously, are 5-6 who do graduate enough to offset the constant flow of those who leave early?

Thanks
